The 'Moving City' installation adapts to the available space and explores the context of Umm Al Fahm, the artist's hometown, where Israeli occupying soldiers targeted refugees and civilians during Al Nakba. Situated atop mountains, Umm Al Fahm's residents ingeniously constructed roads that ascended the slopes instead of circumventing them. This strategic approach hindered the army’s trucks from reaching the town's summit. Through this artwork, the artist showcases how the people of Umm Al Fahm leveraged the natural features of their environment to safeguard their community against Israeli threats.
